Outpost Medicine is an Indianapolis and London, UK-based biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapeutics for urologic and gastrointestinal disorders. The company recently shifted its development focus to OP-687, a new class of oral therapy in development for overactive bladder (OAB) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Leadership changed with Scott Byrd appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding David Socks, Interim CEO and co-founder (who will remain on the board); Tachi Yamada, M.D., serves as Chairman. Outpost completed a $41 million financing to support its programs.
