Output, founded in 2013 by CEO Gregg Lehrman and based in Los Angeles, provides a SaaS-based music-creation platform called Arcade. Arcade powers artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna and Justin Timberlake and placements in Stranger Things, Black Panther and Game Of Thrones. The company raised $45M in a Series A financing in which Summit Partners made a minority investment. As part of the transaction, Andrew Collins, a Managing Director with Summit Partners, joined Output's board of directors. Output intends to use the funds for continued global growth and expansion of its digital production platform. Planned product work includes adding playable instruments and launching mobile applications in 2021.
