Founded in 2016 by Josh Miller and Tyler Holland, its portfolio includes Ginger Beer and Lime, Grapefruit and Lime, Mint, Cucumber and Lime, Tonic Water and Lime, Cranberry and Lime, and Margarita Mix. The brand is sold in all 50 states across over 14,000 retail stores (including Publix, Kroger, Food Lion, and Shaw’s), more than 7,500 CVS locations, over 3,000 bars and restaurants, 35 professional sports venues, and 750+ golf courses, plus direct-to-consumer channels and Amazon. Owen’s reports a 378% year-to-date increase in sales, and its Owen’s–Barstool Transfusion product sold over one million cans in the first 120 days. The company plans to use new funding to hire key talent, ramp sales and marketing, and manufacture additional inventory to meet recent retail authorizations. Owen’s expects to accelerate growth as on‑premise business reopens and aims to triple its business year over year while expanding retail footprint by 10,000 stores.
