OwnTrail is a web platform where users create and share life visualizations or "trails" to map personal and professional milestones and ask for advice; people can join for free or pay for a monthly membership. The company was inspired by CEO Rebekah Bastian's book Blaze Your Own Trail and was launched after she left Zillow in 2020; OwnTrail is based in Seattle. Cofounder Kt McBratney brings brand and marketing expertise while Bastian leads product; the team is eight people.
