Overview
Oxa developed a wearable smart garment and belt that monitors cardiorespiratory signals and delivers instant biofeedback and guided breathing exercises to improve stress, relaxation and sleep. The product launched in February and the company reports clinical-style outcomes: 95% of users experienced immediate stress reduction, 90% achieved deep relaxation after ten sessions, average time to fall asleep dropped by 13 minutes (‑51%), and sleep quality improved by 50% on the Groningen sleep score. Oxa has internal production capabilities for dry electrodes and stretchable wires and has scaled to industrial production for smart garments and sensors. Near-term product plans include expanding from single breathing exercises to multi-exercise programs and adding features such as sleep biometrics monitoring without Bluetooth signals. The company targets a roughly $10 billion TAM related to sleep and stress management and aims for reimbursement by insurers and wider clinical adoption. Oxa also cites partnerships with Swiss clinics, government entities, VR companies and performance apparel firms to support commercialization and validation.
