Oye Rickshaw builds and operates smart lithium‑ion battery swapping stations for e‑rickshaws to increase vehicle uptime and revenue for drivers. The company currently has 15 active swapping stations and plans to expand to 650 stations across Delhi‑NCR and five additional cities by December 2021. Founder Mohit Sharma says e‑rickshaw partners using the service can run 20–30% more on a daily basis, translating to higher earnings. The company reports operating revenue of Rs 15 lakh per month today and projects operating revenue of Rs 5 crore per month after deployment of 650 stations. With the latest infusion, total capital raised stands at Rs 84 crore. Oye Rickshaw intends to fund future expansion from internal accruals.
