Oyela is a collaborative commerce platform that helps emerging social businesses, product creators and artists set up and manage digital storefronts and collaborate to grow sales. It provides Instagram automation and seller-collaboration tools and plans to build conversational commerce engines to enable selling across channels and streamline supply-chain operations. The company says it will deploy the new capital to bolster its e-commerce technology and expand these capabilities. Oyela reports that more than 20,000 Instagram stores have joined its platform organically, with many seeing up to 2.5X growth in orders at null cost of new buyer acquisition. The startup aims to transform Instagram into a hyper sales channel and to power 2 million social stores, targeting 1.6% of the e-commerce market and 9.5% of the social commerce market in India. Oyela was co-founded in 2021 by Rahul Gope and Anjan Kumar Patel.
