Founded in 2004, P2i has built a proprietary plasma-enhanced vapor deposition process that applies ultra-thin, PFAS-free coatings capable of withstanding continuous immersion (IPx8). The company’s technology has been used to protect more than one billion electronic devices worldwide through a factory-in-factory service model targeting a €2 billion protective-coatings market projected for 2026. P2i holds a portfolio of 90 patents across eight families and has successfully defended its IP in multiple disputes. Operating with over 100 employees, it runs main sites in the United Kingdom and China as well as manufacturing service locations in Vietnam, India and the United States. The coatings improve product durability, reduce solvent use and lower waste, aligning with tightening environmental standards. Management plans to use new capital to expand into additional markets and deepen support for existing customers, leveraging Jolt Capital’s operational expertise and financial backing.
