BharatFirst Technologies operates Paavan, a video-first content app launched eight months ago that aims to be a spiritual lifestyle guide. The app’s content is based on frameworks rooted in India’s traditional knowledge systems and derived from ancient knowledge, sciences, and spiritual practices. Paavan currently offers Hindi-language videos that provide practical applications for self-improvement and resolving personal or professional conflicts. The company plans to strengthen its content library for all age groups, produce videos in more Indian languages, and create exclusive content IPs. Founded in 2021 by IIT Delhi alumni Sankalp Jain, Nitin Agrawal, and Mohit Mittal, the startup reports a growing user base and high engagement levels. It will use the funds raised to further enhance the product, build content IP, and hire talent across functions and verticals.
