Overview
Founded in 2020 by Austin Allison and Spencer Rascoff, Pacaso enables buyers to purchase one-eighth to one-half shares of high-end vacation homes, bundling financing, professional management, scheduling and resale support into a single platform. The company has facilitated more than $1.2 billion in real-estate transactions and service fees and generated over $138 million in lifetime gross profit. In the first half of 2025 Pacaso produced $12.6 million in adjusted gross profit while improving margins and cutting cash burn, demonstrating operating leverage. The marketplace now covers 40+ destinations across the U.S., Mexico and Europe, and recently added listings in London, Paris, Italy and the Caribbean. Pacaso is augmenting operations with AI-powered tools and has introduced a new mortgage product through a $100 million credit facility from Texas Capital. Total equity funding has surpassed $300 million after the latest round, giving the company significant capital to scale inventory and international expansion. Management frames co-ownership as a movement that broadens access to luxury real estate for both families and investors.
