Paccurate

68 3rd St Ste 235, Brooklyn, NY, 11231, United States

Overview

Paccurate offers cartonization software and an API that determines the most cost-effective and sustainable way to ship items by accounting for size, weight and packaging requirements. The product is used by brands such as Daily Harvest and Our Place and is positioned as a more accurate alternative to embedded cartonization in larger supply‑chain platforms. The founders, James Malley and Patrick Powers, launched the company in 2018 after identifying a persistent packaging‑optimization gap while consulting. Paccurate initially bootstrapped, took a seed round in 2022 amid pandemic-driven demand, and has since scaled rapidly. Operational throughput climbed from about a million shipments a month last year to roughly a million shipments a day today. The company cites regulatory tailwinds (EU rules and proposed U.S. state bills requiring fuller boxes) and a less saturated market segment as drivers for continued growth. Paccurate is a New York-based cartonization platform that suggests the optimal packing methodology for every shipment using patented technology. Its solution accounts for external factors such as labor, material and complex carrier rates to create cost-optimal packing recommendations. The company delivers dynamic, real-time suggestions via a lightweight API designed for quick integration. Paccurate aims to use its recent funding to drive expansion and further develop its solution. The platform currently optimizes more than 1 million shipments per month and has helped customers save millions of dollars in shipping, cardboard and filler costs. The product targets shippers of all sizes and emphasizes reductions in waste, costs, and item damage. Paccurate provides a containerization engine with a lightweight API designed to reduce costs and the carbon impact of the ecommerce supply chain. Led by CEO James Malley, the company serves retailers and 3PLs and has implementations at Hunter Douglas, Crate & Barrel, Dillard’s, and other retailers. In March the company optimized a record 2.7 million shipments. The platform focuses on fulfillment optimization to lower shipping costs and environmental footprint. Paccurate intends to use new funding to onboard major retailers and 3PLs faster and to expand its suite of fulfillment optimization tools. The company recently raised seed funding to support that growth.
