Pade HCM provides a payroll platform (paperless, multicurrency) and a suite of HR tools including custom approval workflows, leave management, promotions, performance tracking, OKR management, disciplinary management, and custom report building. The product also handles employee benefits management for health insurance, pensions and other benefits both domestically and internationally. The founders developed and launched Pade in August 2020, initially bootstrapping and signing early SME customers. The company has processed ₦3 billion (~$6.5M) in payroll, managed data for over 10,000 employees and reported 300% growth from its subscription-based model last year; it recorded roughly $100,000 in annual revenue in the year after launch. Pade has expanded its footprint to more than 19 African countries without paid advertising. The startup plans to use its new pre-seed investment to expand its product line to include financial services and decision-making information aimed at increasing employee satisfaction and standard of living.
