Pagantis is a Barcelona-based fintech that enables e-commerce customers to pay for purchases in monthly installments through its Paga + Tarde platform. The platform offers simple merchant integration and omnichannel financing with instant online approval. It uses a real-time scoring algorithm that leverages big data and machine learning to assess fraud and credit risk and control delinquency. Pagantis recently raised €65 million in a Series B, one of the largest fintech rounds in Spain to date. The company will use the funds to expand its e-commerce consumer credit service in Italy, France and Portugal. Pagantis has received regulatory approval to operate in Italy, opened a branch in Milan, and its team currently consists of more than 100 professionals.
