It has closed its latest and largest funding to date, raising more than €7.5 million from Bonnier Ventures and existing backers such as DN Capital, HV Holtzbrinck Ventures, and Atlantic Labs. Pamono highlighted Bonnier Ventures' involvement, citing its "strong foundation in Scandinavian media and culture, with deep ties to distinctive design for the home." The marketplace has onboarded over 1,500 vendors, a mix of international galleries, shops, designers, and makers. Pamono ships directly to customers around the globe. The round represents the company's biggest financing to date. Pamono is a Berlin-based marketplace for vintage and contemporary furniture, lighting, accessories and crafts. Launched in 2013 by CEO Oliver Weyergraf, the company also operates a magazine that tells the stories behind listed items. Pamono partners with over 1,000 vendors from 23 countries, including international galleries, shops, designers and makers, and records sales in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK and the US. It secured a mid-size seven-digit investment round with media-house venture arms Ringier and Gruner + Jahr joining existing backers Holtzbrinck Ventures, DN Capital and Atlantic Internet. The media investors have agreed to provide media placement and advertising in addition to capital.
