PANGEA is a travel agency that provides an omni-channel booking experience across web, mobile and its physical stores. Its concept stores include travel items, a large travel bookstore, events, and a restaurant; the first opened in October 2015 and a 1,700 m² flagship opened in Barcelona in April 2018. The company has handled more than 15,000 reservations this year and more than 40,000 travellers have used its services. PANGEA recently launched a Do It Yourself tool to help travellers design customised trips from home. It raised €9 million to further develop its technology and expand its product offering, including opening two new stores in Valencia and Bilbao in 2019. The company plans to enter the Latin American market by 2020 and emphasizes combining online and offline channels to deliver personalized travel services.
