Paper is a crypto-focused payments processing company launched in February that helps non-crypto consumers create wallets via email and purchase NFTs with credit cards or crypto wallets. The platform supports Polygon, Ethereum, Solana and Avalanche to provide a frictionless bridge for entry into NFT marketplaces. In its first months the startup closed a $7.3M seed financing after a $2M angel investment, raising $9.3M in fresh capital. Paper has worked with brands and artists including Fnatic, Deadmau5, Boohoo and YesTheory to enable credit-card NFT purchases and simple wallet onboarding. The company plans to release an SDK to white‑label checkout and branded wallet experiences that display only a brand's NFTs. The new capital will be used for hiring, expanding wallet infrastructure and security, and adding support for more blockchains; the team emphasizes consumer experience and includes engineers from NextDoor, Google and Twitch.
