Parabilis (formerly PFF, LLC) provides asset-based working capital financing to small and medium companies that serve the U.S. Federal Government. The firm focuses on clients who cannot obtain traditional senior financing or who are in transition and need near-term or intermediate funding, such as to cover start-up payroll when winning a large contract. Parabilis positions itself as one of the largest non-bank providers of working capital financing for government contractors. The company announced a $100M capital raise and rebranded from PFF, LLC to Parabilis. Leadership includes CEO Bruce Lyman (Col USAF Ret) and Chairman Dr. Edward Bersoff; the founders and management team bring decades of military service and over 50 years of combined experience in government contracting and finance. Founded in 2013 and based in Northern Virginia, Parabilis says it will use the new capital to expand support for small and medium businesses that need financing to win and implement federal contracts.
