Parakey provides a mobile-phone-based digital key solution with a web platform that lets key owners manage access, send digital keys to thousands of people in seconds, and monitor usage. The platform can also send keys automatically through specified bookings to streamline access workflows. Founded in 2014 and based in Gothenburg, Parakey has doubled its number of customers in the past year. The company has received €880k from existing investor Chalmers Ventures and a number of business angels to support growth. Parakey will use the new capital to recruit new employees and invest in marketing to increase sales. CEO and co-founder Jonas Arvidsson says customers save time and money by fully digitising their key management.
