Paratus Namibia Holdings Ltd
106 Nickel Street, Prosperita, Windhoek, Khomas, Namibia
Overview
Paratus Group is a Pan-African telecoms firm that builds cross-border fibre infrastructure and operates carrier-neutral data centres. The company is expanding fibre routes to connect Angola, DRC, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Mozambique and Zambia to boost connectivity, including underserved regions. The recent funding will help complete a 10MW tier-one data centre in Angola — described as the largest in the country — and add to Paratus’s footprint; it will be the group’s fifth carrier-neutral data centre in southern Africa and complements two tier-three data centres in Luanda. Paratus says the capital injection will be used over the next three years and supports its goal of doubling revenue within five years. Cirrus Capital acted as financial advisor and lead arranger on the transaction. The group’s core focus remains infrastructure expansion and data‑centre development to facilitate regional economic development.
