Parrot builds ParrotConnect, a point-of-sale and restaurant management platform that centralizes delivery apps, menus, kitchen management, payments and reporting. Founded in April 2020 and based in Monterrey, the company launched ParrotConnect in 2021. It addresses fragmented operations during the delivery boom by reducing connectivity issues and order errors when multiple delivery apps push orders into disparate POS systems. Parrot works with over 60 collaborators on the product and serves more than 500 restaurants across Monterrey, Mexico City and the Riviera Maya, all of which are paying customers. The company has grown from about 10 employees in 2021 to roughly 60 today and offers plans starting at $73 per month for a single POS; it is too early to disclose revenue. Parrot plans to use new funding to continue product development and expand its footprint in Mexico.
