Overview
Partful builds an interactive 3D Software-as-a-Service platform for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to create interactive 3D parts catalogs that streamline identification, ordering, and installation of parts. The platform is available in 71 languages and serves customers including Lotus, Lear, and Ideal Heating. Founded in 2017 and based in Manchester, the company focuses on the manufacturing aftersales industry. Partful raised €6.0M in its latest funding round, bringing total funding to €13.5M. The company will use the funds to drive further innovation and expand the reach of its aftersales SaaS platform for OEMs. Investors in the round include Northern Gritstone, Par Equity, and Blumberg Capital. Partful offers an end-to-end aftermarket platform featuring interactive 3D exploded parts catalogues, detailed work instructions, and eCommerce capabilities to help users identify, order and repair parts. The platform is developed by Manchester-based start-up SamsonVT and is available in 71 languages. Partful has grown revenues by more than 100% year over year, expanded its workforce by 95%, and added customers including Lotus Cars, Norton Motorcycles, IDEX Corporation, Maeving, GOVECS and Dragonfly Hyperscooter. The product supports on-the-job training for maintenance engineers and aims to reduce order errors, protect manufacturer revenues and limit product downtime. Partful has opened new UK headquarters in Manchester and launched a European Centre of Technology in Warsaw as it pushes adoption across Europe and the U.S. SamsonVT offers SamsonCORE, an interactive digital platform that replaces paper-based technical manuals and parts catalogues with immersive 3D models to support maintenance engineers. The platform can connect engineers with the wider supply chain to improve order fulfilment and is designed for Industry 4.0 use cases, leveraging immersive 3D modelling and machine learning. The company targets the $400B after-sales market and counts global customers including Lotus, RS Components and Norton Motorcycles. SamsonVT was co-founded in 2017 by Sam Burgess and Ed Brunyee after they identified opportunities to digitise equipment lifecycle management. The company has experienced rapid growth and is using external advisory support from Sand Hill East to prepare for expansion, including entry into the U.S. market. Recent seed funding will be used to develop products, enhance customer service and scale production as SamsonVT expands into new territories.
