Party Round offers a platform that automates the process of raising early-stage capital, with a current focus on seed deals. Founders can create a round, set terms, invite investors, and the service handles documents, signatures and capture of funds to reduce lawyer and administrative friction. The product is designed to make smaller checks economically viable, broadening the potential investor pool beyond traditional VCs. During a beta period, founders using the service raised in the low six figures per day. The company used its own platform to raise $7 million from a mix of funds and angel investors. Named participants include Seven Seven Six, Anish Acharya (a16z), Shrug Capital and angels such as Packy McCormick, Austin Rief, Emilie Choi and Nik Sharma. Party Round is currently offering the service for free and says it will monetize later, with possible products including SPVs, later-stage checks and debt.
