PaverGuide develops and sells a stormwater infiltration chamber manufactured from recycled plastic that replaces stone as a structural base for permeable paving systems. The product installs faster and cheaper than stone and offers roughly 90% void space, creating a large rainwater reservoir and expansive infiltration surface. The design is intended to increase contractor productivity and profitability while expanding clean, green infrastructure materials. The company is also developing a stormwater filtration media in partnership with the University of Maryland, with research funded by Maryland DNR and the Maryland Industrial Partnership. PaverGuide is expanding its services across the U.S. and is pursuing broader market share in green infrastructure and water infiltration markets.
