PaylessGate develops SpeeIDy, a smartphone Bluetooth-based hands-free, non-contact authentication and payment platform built on two patented technologies. The platform combines an ultra-high-precision positioning technology and a high-security authentication method the company says is resilient to supercomputer attacks, enabling users to authenticate and pay simply by carrying a sleeping smartphone. SpeeIDy integrates with event check-in, payments, automated ticket gates, and smart keys to unify dispersed real-world digital authentication. PaylessGate has run multiple pilots with municipalities and private companies, including on-demand transit trials in Saitama's Misono area and an autonomous shuttle pilot at HANEDA INNOVATION CITY. The company is strengthening its team—having appointed 矢頭 了 as COO—and is actively hiring engineers and business-development staff. Recently raised funds will be used to accelerate SpeeIDy development and personnel recruitment.
