Pebble is a social network that launched as T2 and has rebranded to emphasize a distinct identity and the pebble.is domain and username format (pebble.is/[username]). The product mimics many legacy Twitter features — classic verification checkmarks (including legacy verification), quote posts, direct messages and a For You feed — which the company says differentiates it from other rivals such as Mastodon and Bluesky. Pebble introduced a refreshed look and logo plus an “Ideas” feature that suggests post prompts based on your conversations, bio and who you follow; suggestions can be dismissed. The team says T2 was never meant to be permanent and chose the Pebble name to convey small messages creating broader ripples. Founders Gabor Cselle and Sarah Oh lead the effort. The company is backed by $1.1 million in funding from a group of angel investors.
