PeekMed develops an AI-based, 3D pre-operative planning and simulation system used by orthopedic surgeons to plan surgeries and test implant sizes and outcomes in seconds. The platform combines 3D imaging and artificial intelligence to enable surgeons to execute pre-planned procedures. PeekMed is CE marked, ISO 13485:2016 approved and FDA 510(k) cleared. The company reports multiple contracts in place and has been developing its system since 2015. With the new funding, PeekMed plans to expand globally—particularly across European and North American markets—by increasing sales and marketing capacity and expanding its product team. Proceeds will also be used to further develop its 3D AI planning and deep learning technologies.
