Overview
PentixaPharm GmbH, a joint venture of Scintomics GmbH and 1717 Life Science Ventures GmbH, develops a theranostic radiopharmaceutical pair targeting the CXCR4 receptor. Its lead compounds are PentixaFor, a [68Ga]-based PET imaging agent, and PentixaTher, a therapeutic labeled with α- or β-emitters for endoradiotherapy. PentixaFor has demonstrated advanced imaging across hematologic indications including leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma, and in solid tumors such as adrenocortical carcinoma and small cell lung cancer; it can also visualize conditions like atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction, splenosis and stroke. The company plans clinical advancement with a phase II trial for PentixaFor and a phase I trial of PentixaTher in CNS lymphoma, while supporting proof-of-concept studies in additional indications. Funding from the Series A is dedicated to these clinical programs and to further establishing the CXCR4 theranostic approach. PentixaPharm positions itself to enable individualized radiopharmaceutical therapies for fast-progressing diseases, particularly malignant cancers.
