PerfectlySoft develops the Perfect server-side Swift framework that lets developers write Swift on both the device and the server, removing traditional front-and-backend iOS development silos. Founded in 2015 and led by CEO Sean Stephens and CTO Kyle Jessup, the company introduced Perfect in November 2015. Perfect targets iOS, Mac OS and Linux environments and has promoted Swift education and community building through meet-ups, lectures and other events across the Greater Toronto Area and globally. The company closed a $1.5m seed funding round, having raised an additional $300k ahead of the close. Funds from York Angel Investors will be used to advance and scale PerfectlySoft's server-side architecture in anticipation of Apple's Swift 3.0 release later this year.
