Perx Health offers a behavior-change platform launched in 2017 that supports adherence across multiple conditions including diabetes, cardiovascular, behavioral and mental health, respiratory, musculoskeletal, Hepatitis C and HIV. The platform has been validated for patients with complex social determinants of health and used in programs for vulnerable public hospital patients and a government-sponsored program for higher-risk Indigenous Australians with COVID-19. Perx partners with health plans, healthcare systems, and employers to build high-engagement programs and is used by global healthcare brands such as AIA, QBE, Roche, AstraZeneca, and Australia’s national healthcare system. The company raised AUD 3m (USD 2.2M) in seed funding led by AirTree Ventures and intends to use the proceeds to expand into the U.S. CEO and founder Scott Taylor has relocated to lead a new U.S. team composed of sales and marketing hires from U.S. digital health companies. Perx established its U.S. headquarters in Chicago and introduced an advisory board including Fawad Butt and Dr. Mike Cantor.
