Peyton and Byrne
226 Great Portland Street, London, Greater London, W1W 5QP, United Kingdom
Overview
Peyton and Byrne was founded in 2005 by Oliver Peyton and Siobhan Peyton (CEO) and is based in London. The company operates restaurants at eight London visitor attractions including The National Gallery, the Royal Academy of Arts and Kew Gardens, and runs retail bakery and café outlets in central London. Peyton Events provides catering for private functions at twenty London venues such as The Wallace Collection and Lancaster House; in 2011 it catered over 650 events including corporate functions, weddings, bespoke parties and major conferences. The business received a £6.25m growth capital investment from Business Growth Fund (BGF), which acquired a minority stake. Peyton and Byrne will use the proceeds to accelerate the roll-out of retail bakeries over the next four years and to facilitate new restaurant launches. In conjunction with the funding BGF has taken board representation and introduced an experienced non-executive chairman to the business.
