Overview
Phable builds an AI-enabled health assistant and a full-stack chronic disease management platform that delivers disease-specific guidance and continuous monitoring. Its platform creates an ecosystem linking patients, doctors, hospitals, health devices, insurers and patient care service providers. The company reports more than 3 million patients, over 10,000 doctors and 1,000+ pharmacists using its technology. Phable plans to expand to 30M+ Indian households and 100,000+ super-specialist doctors over the next two years and aims to capture 25% of the market. It intends to accelerate market expansion, customer acquisition, build new revenue streams and further integrate the healthcare system. Founded in 2017 and based in Bengaluru, Phable positions itself as India’s largest chronic disease management provider. Phable has built a full‑stack solution that aggregates transactions for patients with chronic diseases, including teleconsultation, test tracking, medicine purchases and medical IoT device integration. The startup says it has developed what it claims is the world’s largest integration with medical IoT devices and also sells a range of devices through its platform. Its app automatically collects patient data, enables medication tracking and reminders, and lets doctors nudge patients and request follow-ups. Phable maintains partnerships with e‑pharmacies 1mg and Medlife to simplify medicine orders and delivery. The company currently serves more than 220,000 patients and is used by over 5,000 doctors; doctors using the platform have seen their revenue grow by about 20%. Phable employs 72 people and plans to broaden its offering to include in‑app insurance purchases while scaling its user and doctor base. Phable, founded in 2017 and headquartered in Bengaluru, operates a healthcare platform and 'Super App' serving patients, doctors, and hospitals. The app focuses on chronic disease management by providing compliance mechanisms that alert patients about medication intake, lab tests and doctor visits. It leverages AI and machine learning to offer targeted health tips and helps physicians by surfacing a patient’s treatment history. Phable currently offers services in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chandigarh and claims to have helped over 50,000 patients and onboarded more than 700 doctors. The company plans geographic expansion—aiming to reach 12 cities by the end of 2020—and says it intends to impact the health of 1.3 billion Indians over the next five years. Financially, it previously raised $150,000 from SOSV in August and $300,000 in 2018 from OmphalosVenture India LLP and angel investors.
