PharmaCCX is developing a technology exchange platform that enables pharmaceutical companies and payers to agree on therapy pricing and to confidentially explore performance- and indication-based pricing. The platform is designed to speed up pricing negotiations and help get drugs to patients more quickly. Co-founded by Nathan Sigworth and Richard Bergstrom, the company is based in Boston, MA. PharmaCCX raised $3m in a seed funding round led by Accel with participation from Atlantic Labs, Green D Ventures and other investors. In conjunction with the financing, Barath Shankar Subramanian of Accel joined the board alongside health-tech entrepreneur and executive Julia Bernstein. The company will use the funds to continue developing its proprietary platform and to initiate deployments in several European countries.
