PHARMAJET

400 Corporate Circle, Suite N, Golden, CO, 80401, United States

Overview

PharmaJet develops and commercially scales precision, needle‑free delivery systems (Stratis and Tropis) that enhance vaccine and pharmaceutical performance, including nucleic acid vaccines and therapeutics. The company reports providing tens of millions of needle‑free syringes for global vaccination programs and has established over 80 global pharmaceutical partnerships. Its Stratis System holds U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance, CE Mark, and WHO PQS certification for IM and SC delivery; the Tropis System has CE Mark and WHO PQS for ID delivery. PharmaJet emphasizes increased vaccine effectiveness, improved patient and caregiver experience, and a proven path to commercialization. The company says the technology is safe, fast, and easy to use and is commercially available for global immunization programs. Management intends to use additional capital to grow the business and focus on partnerships that bring life‑saving technologies to market. PharmaJet produces the Stratis needle‑free injector system, a reusable injector plus needle‑free syringe and filling adapter that delivers 0.5 mL doses intramuscularly or intradermally using jet‑injection "liquid needle" technology. The reusable portion uses springs to generate pressure and the device administers an injection in about one‑third of a second. The company positions the product as a way to reduce needle‑stick injuries, lower blood‑borne infection risk from needle reuse (WHO estimates up to 40% of injections are improperly sterilized) and enable dose‑sparing intradermal delivery. The device costs about $200 and can deliver roughly 30,000 injections. Stratis was cleared by the FDA in 2009 and saw use in flu clinics and Kroger Pharmacy, and PharmaJet reports devices are in use in 20 countries and ran a 6,000‑child pilot in Cambodia. PharmaJet is developing a second‑generation intradermal device and is working with the FDA after a warning halted use of the device for flu vaccines.
