PHASE Scientific builds urine-based liquid biopsy diagnostics around its PHASIFY™ urine concentration technology, which the company says captures approximately 10 times more target analytes than current gold standards. The firm is advancing a pipeline of non-invasive tests for early detection of multiple cancers, women's health conditions, and infectious diseases, and plans to expand R&D and commercialization. PHASE has commercialized over 30 diagnostic products, distributed more than 100 million tests in over 30 countries, and conducted over 8 million laboratory tests worldwide. It developed the world's first urine-based HPV test, which demonstrated 93.4% sensitivity for CIN2+ and over 97% concordance with Roche's Cobas 4800 for HPV16/18 in a clinical study with Peking University Shenzhen Hospital; the work received the Thomas V. Sedlacek Prize and conference recognition. The company intends to use recent funding to accelerate development and market rollout of next-generation urine-based diagnostics. Founded in 2015, PHASE is headquartered in Hong Kong SAR with cross-border operations in Southern California and China's Greater Bay Area.
