Phelix.ai develops a suite of automation products for the health sector, including fax automation, call-centre automation, booking automation, two-way patient messaging and workflow analytics. Its conversational AI engine uses natural language understanding to triage and action administrative and clinical requests by phone, text, or a virtual website agent. The product can schedule, connect, and auto-bill for secure phone visits as well as in-person or video-based virtual care without integrations, operating through a single phone line per physician. The company says its tools can free up to 75% of time spent on workflow tasks, allowing frontline healthcare workers to focus on patient care. Phelix.ai recently launched a public health assistant for COVID-19 triage, follow-up, and contact tracing, and its Intake Assistant is deployed with diagnostic imaging providers across North America. Planned uses of new capital include building out solutions, growing the team, and expanding across channel partners.
