Pictoria develops AI characters and AITubers by combining its VTuber experience with recent AI advances to create new entertainment IP. The company is building proprietary datasets and improving development processes to lower costs and increase acceptance of AI in entertainment. Pictoria has begun partnering with a broad range of industry clients and positions itself as a lead company as AI characters gain social recognition. In a Series A2 round the company raised ¥230 million (2.3億円) from four investors, funds it will use for R&D to increase its AITuber roster and to build a platform that lets anyone create their own AITuber. Pictoria is also accelerating hiring for roles such as project managers, server-side engineers, and LLM engineers to scale product and platform development.
