PillSorted hooks directly into the U.K.’s NHS system to offer a personalised pharmacy option listed alongside local stores on GPs’ computers. Founded in 2019 by former pharmacist Zeinab Ardeshir, the company combines automation with a human-focused service and delivers medication either by post or via its own delivery fleet. PillSorted says its approach reduces manual, repetitive tasks for pharmacists and enables regular medication review. The startup has begun trialling its service to support care workers as part of an integration with social care. It will use new funding to develop its product and expand services within London and across the U.K.
