Pimento provides a generative-AI tool aimed at the first step of creative processes — ideation, brainstorming and moodboarding — by transforming text briefs and reference images into image, color and text suggestions. Creative teams use Pimento to compile reference documents that serve as inspiration and early guidelines for projects such as brand redesigns, ad campaigns, games or animation. Users start with a text brief and a few images, then generate tailored images, text and colors; outputs can be saved, shared via links, and iterated on. Iteration features include merging images, picking colors from images, reusing text to generate more images and requesting image variants. Pimento currently relies on fine-tuned open-source models such as Stable Diffusion and Llama and plans to add Mistral AI; the company intends to expand interaction modes and add customizable shared boards. The startup recently closed a $3.2M (€3M) seed round to support product development.
