Pin People is an HR tech startup that uses an online AI-based system to analyze and cross-match data from companies and candidates via two simple questionnaires. The company collects one questionnaire from candidates and a separate questionnaire from employees (not HR) to capture day-to-day culture, values and pain points. A statistical algorithm produces a compatibility score and delivers real-time indicators of organizational climate, enabling hiring managers to prioritize candidates and reduce interview volume. After two and a half years of operation the platform reports more than 25 client companies, 16,000 candidates in its database, and 100 hires. Founders Isabella Botelho and Verônica Mussi launched the business after working at Endeavor, and Frederico Lacerda is also a cofounder. Pin People is developing a people-analytics line and a talent-management dashboard to extract richer insights from its data as it scales and improves the product.
