Pine Games is a mobile game startup founded in Istanbul by Yankı Yağız Akpek, Burak Sarp and Yasin Yıldırım. The company focuses on developing lean-style, simple-mechanic mobile puzzle games aimed at wide audiences. In its initial phase it will release a series of minimalist puzzle titles and plans to integrate known IPs into its games over time. The company completed its formal incorporation alongside the fundraising. Pine Games announced a $2.25 million pre-seed raise at a $10 million valuation. Investors on the round include 500 Emerging Europe, Laton Ventures and Loop Games founder Mert Gür.
