PinkelStar offers a service for mobile application developers to integrate social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn natively into iPhone and Android apps while providing social analytics. The product includes real-time analytics like shares, sessions, reach, propagation of shares and content within social networks, heat maps, click-throughs and new downloads. The company says these analytics help developers improve app discovery, drive downloads, increase retention and grow revenue. PinkelStar is opening its Beta to more developers and mobile app publishers to provide these analytics and integrations. The company plans to integrate additional networks including Buzz, Netlog, Orkut and Foursquare and to expand its social analytics tools. To support that expansion, PinkelStar closed new funding to grow its team and offering.
