PIPRA offers a browser-based, platform-independent AI test that generates an immediate risk score for postoperative delirium from routinely collected patient history in about one minute. The tool leverages a curated and harmonized patient database to calculate individual, real-time risk scores and is CE-certified. The platform launched in September 2021 and is already used by paying clients including Hirslanden Hospital, Cantonal Hospital Baden and University Hospital Basel. A Budget Impact Analysis estimated the solution could save a mid-sized public hospital CHF 3.2 million per year. The company has a team of five employees and is currently hiring as it seeks to expand clinical adoption. PIPRA has also secured non-equity funding and awards to support multicentre projects with major university hospitals.
