Pixel Vault

130 Corridor Rd #715, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, 32004, United States

Overview

Pixel Vault builds large NFT collections and comics centered on superhero characters and aims to grow into a decentralized, Marvel‑like media empire. Its projects emphasize Web3 tenets—community empowerment, decentralized governance, and true digital ownership—and the team frames fans as owners and builders rather than customers. The company’s first launch in May (before it was formally a company) dropped thousands of comic-book NFTs that could be exchanged for spots in the Pixel Vault founder’s DAO and ownership of a substantial NFT collection that included CryptoPunks. Pixel Vault retains IP rights to 146 “Core” characters while encouraging broad reuse of thousands of generative MetaHero identities, and it has an agency deal with WME to develop partnerships in Hollywood and beyond. The project has seen nearly 100,000 ETH in lifetime transaction volume (reported as more than a quarter of a billion dollars at current prices), with floor prices for generative MetaHero identities around $18,000 in ETH and core characters trading for just under $300,000. Early backing included a multi‑million‑dollar contribution of CryptoPunks from a pseudonymous investor (@beaniemaxi), who later divested amid controversy to avoid further blowback for the startup.
