Pixonic operates the PixAPI platform, which the company says speeds up the process of launching social games onto major social networks including Facebook. To date it has launched over 30 games by 17 studios on 13 social networks across seven countries. The company has agreements to publish selected Mail.Ru Group social games outside Russia and to publish titles from Alawar globally. Pixonic is best known for Lil’ Brownies, which has more than 6.5 million installations and just under 1 million daily active users across 12 major social networks. Its CEO is Elena Masolova, a co-founder of Groupon Russia (formerly Darberry), which sold to Groupon in 2010. The company recently raised new funding to expand its social game lineup and distribution via PixAPI.
