Overview
Pixyle AI provides visual search and product-data-enrichment tools that extract detailed attributes from product images to improve online discovery. Its neural networks categorize fashion items by attributes such as color, pattern and other detailed features, supported by a taxonomy of more than 20,000 attributes. The company has tagged over 250 million images and works with more than 20 clients, including Depop, Otrium and Minto, and says it increases conversions for retail customers by about 10% on average. Case studies include a 65% productivity improvement at Otrium for color detection and a 50% higher conversion to product outlinks reported by Project Cece after adding Pixyle’s visual search. Founded in 2019 after a consumer visual-search app pivoted to B2B, Pixyle operates from offices in Amsterdam and North Macedonia. Pixyle plans to use new funding to enhance its product suite, expand in the U.S. and Europe, enter verticals such as homeware and furniture, and add features like product-description generation, OCR label detection, “shop the look” and multi-modal search.
