Overview
Pizza Club Games is a San Francisco mobile game studio that develops Raid Boss, a free-to-play mobile character-collector currently in early access on Android. Raid Boss blends hero-collection RPG character management with tactical real-time battles and guild mechanics. The studio was founded in early 2020 by four cofounders — Daniel Hunnicutt, Lisa Hicks, Todd Gunther, and Benjamin Gross — who previously worked at companies such as Sega, Electronic Arts, NCSoft, Glu, and Playdom. My.Games Venture Capital invested $1.5 million and will provide funding plus operational support for scaling, including marketing, game design, recruiting, and product analytics. With MGVC's backing the studio plans to hire more people, release an iOS version, add new content, and introduce multiplayer and PvP components. MGVC and parent My.Games will also provide marketing support via hypercasual mobile game publishers.
