Place Exchange is a NYC-based supply-side platform (SSP) for programmatic out-of-home (OOH) and place-based media. Led by CEO Ari Buchalter, the company integrates with omnichannel demand-side platforms (DSPs) to enable unified buying and measurement of OOH alongside digital channels. Its patented technology allows agencies and advertisers to use the same workflow, creatives, reporting, and attribution as for online and mobile advertising. Initially incubated within former parent company Intersection, Place Exchange has focused on programmatic growth across the OOH category and has spun out into an independent entity. The company plans to use the new funding to broaden product offerings, expand into new markets, and grow its team. It closed a $20m Series A to support these efforts.
