Plancast is a social event‑sharing service that enables users to post and indicate which upcoming events they plan to attend. The product recently completed its first iPhone app, which was due to be submitted to the App Store shortly, and the team is building an API that was entering private beta. The company planned to leverage SXSW to drive user growth and had launched a special SXSW page to surface events.
