Overview
PlanDelta develops an FP&A software platform aimed at small and mid-sized companies that largely rely on Excel today. The product is positioned as a more affordable, easy-to-configure alternative to enterprise FP&A tools, designed to require no external consultants. PlanDelta says finance teams can move from raw data to complex analytics in under 24 hours using its platform. The company was founded by Milen Manev and Martin Milanov, the latter drawing on his experience as a CFO. PlanDelta raised €2.3 million in venture capital and is using most of the funds for product development and to hire initial business roles. Short-term plans include formally launching the product and exiting beta; longer-term goals are expansion into several large external markets and achieving target revenues. The company also intends to expand its teams in the UK, the Netherlands and Bulgaria. PlanDelta is a Bulgarian software company building financial-planning tools for businesses. Founders Milen Manev and Martin Milanov, university colleagues who later worked in various software companies, developed the idea and worked over a year on planning and design. The product aims to be flexible and affordably priced so smaller and early-stage companies that currently rely on Excel can adopt it. PlanDelta focuses on tying financial and strategic planning together so companies can immediately see the financial consequences of strategic decisions. The team says the pandemic highlighted the need for rapid planning and decision-making, increasing demand for their product. PlanDelta recently received a €350k investment from Eleven, with funds earmarked for technical development, building the product's architectural foundation, and finding pilot customers.
