Plant An App is a Romania-based low-code 'do-it-yourself' platform that enables rapid development and deployment of web applications and real-time collaboration between IT teams, developers, and business users. Launched in 2019 as a spin-off from a developer tools business the founder started in 2009, the company repackaged a decade of products into a single low-code platform. It targets both internal tools and customer portals and emphasises features such as GitHub integration, frequent six-week releases, and capabilities to support versioning, testing, and pull request workflows in the low-code context. The company reports ARR growth from $100K to $800K (€83K to €660K) in the past 12 months. Plant An App has raised capital via equity crowdfunding and accelerator participation and is part of the 500 Startups San Francisco programme. Its SeedBlink campaign was the largest crowdfunding round in Romania and sold out in three hours, and the company is focused on expanding internationally, particularly in the US.
